The story of the Three Tactical Goats Gruff

“Bravo Tactical Gruff this is Lima Tactical Gruff, Acknowledge”

“Lima Tactical Gruff this is Bravo Tactical Gruff, go ahead”

“Bravo Tactical Gruff, Mike Bravo Gruff and I have met resistance on the bridge from Tango 1, identified as a Terrestrial Ravager of Our Lush Lands (TROLL) we were able to make the crossing but cannot return, I say again we cannot return, over.”

“Lima Tactical Gruff, I have your location as the other side of the bridge, is Tango 1 in sight, over.”

“Bravo Tactical Gruff, Tango 1 is in sight and expecting you, we issued warnings, but the bridge is not clear. I say again, the bridge is not clear, over.”

“Lima Tactical Gruff, I appreciate the heads up, take cover with Mike Tactical Gruff, I am inbound, ETA of 1 minute 30 seconds, out.”

“Roger, out.”

Big Tactical Goat Gruff sharpened his horns on the honing wheel. His brothers had made it to the grassy meadow abundant with food, but were unable to return to base camp. No problem, he thought. From the top of his hill he could see the TROLL (Tango 1) occupying the bridge.

Dropping his head with his legs furiously pumping and propelling his weight toward the objective he ran forward with a sense of duty and honor that would propel his mortal enemy from the bridge into the river below.

As he neared his nemesis, he spoke into his bite switch communicator.

“Lima Tactical Gruff, Mike Tactical Gruff, be advised I am heading directly for Tango 1, take cover and brace for impact.”

His diamond sharp horns propelled by 250 pounds of pure muscle and naked aggression collided with Tango 1, propelling his enemy into the air and splashing down into the river 500 yards to the west.

On the other side of the bridge, Lima Tactical Gruff stamped the outline of TROLL alongside the 40 similar markings on Bravo Tactical Gruff's right flank.

"Tango is down".
